The CCDC Center, Student Affairs launched the "English for All (Fast Track)" program for graduate Chinese students on August 7, 9, 21 and 23, 2024. The event was designed to improve English proficiency and communication skills.
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran noted, "Language is a bridge that connects cultures and opens doors to countless opportunities. Our fast-track program aims to empower our students to communicate confidently and effectively."
The curriculum was curated under the guidance of language specialist and Manager of the Albert Laurence E4ALL, Ajarn Piya. "English for All by Albert Laurence" (E4ALL) adopts an activity-based approach, which proves to be instrumental in nurturing participants' confidence in English communication. The workshops center around promoting self-directed learning, aligning with the visionary concept developed from the "7 Steps to English Proficiency" framework, as initiated by the Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of AU.
The workshops were designed to not only impart linguistic skills but also to empower students with the ability to navigate diverse real-world situations confidently. With a total duration of 25 hours, the "English for All by Albert Laurence" (E4ALL) program is offered to participating freshmen free of charge. This initiative underscores the university's dedication to supporting students' holistic growth, transcending linguistic barriers, and nurturing global citizens of tomorrow.
Great job to all our students who took part! Your commitment to mastering English is truly commendable. Keep striving for excellence!
