The Thomas Aquinas School of Law, in collaboration with the Institute of Research and Academic Services, Assumption University, will host a workshop titled “Laws and Key Operations for Subdistrict Headmen and Village Headmen in the Modern Era” (กฎหมายและการดำเนินการที่สำคัญสำหรับกำนันและผู้ใหญ่บ้านในยุคปัจจุบัน). The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Thewa Niwet, 1st floor, the Cathedral of Learning Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus, Assumption University, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province.
The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge, understanding, and essential skills required for the effective performance of duties by Subdistrict Headmen, Deputy Subdistrict Headmen, Village Headmen, Assistant Village Headmen, and related community administrative leaders. The goal is to ensure these leaders can accurately and efficiently execute their roles, align government policies, and meet the needs of local residents, thereby fostering concrete and sustainable community development. The School of Law has also received support from the Department of Provincial Administration and the Governor of Samut Prakan Province, who will provide lecturers and attend the workshop on the scheduled date and time.
