Be Part of 72 Million Trees: President Bancha Calls You to Action

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) is proud to join the nation in celebrating the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s (Rama X) 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary with a special tree planting event. This initiative is part of the "72 Million Trees for Forest Restoration" project, launched to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 72^nd birthday.

This event is a significant part of a series of events for the month-long ‘Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary’ 28^th July 2024, and reflects the university’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability. The tree planting activity not only honors His Majesty the King’s dedication to sustainable development but also contributes to the restoration of Thailand’s forests.

Date: June 28, 2024
Time:
4:30 PM - Preparation: Participants will gather behind the Faculty of Medicine Building at the Suvarnabhumi Campus. Preparations will include setting up planting stations and distributing saplings.
5:00 PM - Planting Begins: The tree planting will commence promptly at 5:00 PM. Participants will plant a variety of native tree species, contributing to the restoration of the local ecosystem.
Location: Behind the Faculty of Medicine Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus
