In December 2024, the Department of Finance and Risk Management at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) successfully organized a series of Money Management Training sessions aimed at enhancing the financial literacy of elementary and high school students. The sessions, which took place at Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP) and Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksapattanakarn School, focused on personal financial planning to help students manage their finances effectively for a secure future.

The training catered to a diverse group, including Grade 4 students at ACSP and Grade 9 students at Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksapattanakarn School. A total of 634 students participated, learning how to manage money in their daily lives, select appropriate financial products, and develop financial plans and decisions that align with their needs and long-term goals.

Through these sessions, the students gained valuable skills in budgeting, saving, and planning for their future financial security. The program’s objectives were to foster financial awareness and equip the younger generation with the tools needed for smart financial decision-making.

This initiative is part of AU’s ongoing commitment to educating future leaders and promoting financial literacy within the community. By empowering students with practical money management skills, AU is helping them build a solid foundation for financial independence.
