In June and July 2024, students and faculty members from the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) participated in the Youth Volunteer Project (โครงการยุวชนอาสา) by visiting the Bon Kai Homemaker Community Enterprise Group. The primary objectives of the visit were to develop a business plan and marketing strategies for Herbane herbal shampoo products.
The team aimed to apply classroom knowledge from various business disciplines, including management, marketing, finance, and economics, to address real-world business challenges. Their goal was to increase sales for the community enterprise, raise the income of its members, and enhance the value of the community's products.
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President, remarked, "This project is a testament to our students' dedication and our university's commitment to community development. By applying their knowledge and skills, they are not only enhancing their learning experience but also contributing significantly to the well-being of the community."
This initiative reflects the commitment of AU to blend academic learning with practical application, fostering community engagement and sustainable development.
