On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) will host the prestigious AU Awards of Excellence conferral ceremony, alongside a day of festive activities that highlight the university's vibrant spirit of community and tradition.
The day begins with an assemblage at the Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort at the Suvarnabhumi Campus from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by the conferral ceremony. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements within the AU community, fostering a culture of excellence and inspiring continued dedication to education and service. This special occasion will also include the Christmas Festival Celebration and a felicitation ceremony honoring the birthday of the President Emeritus.
The morning culminates with a luncheon reception at the John XXIII Conference Center from 11:30 to 12:30 PM, bringing together attendees to reflect on the achievements and share in the joy of the season.
Later, the festivities shift to the Hua Mak Campus, where the Christmas 2024 & New Year Celebrations will commence. From 6:00 PM, the Salle d’ Expo will host the Conferral of Staff of the Year Awards, a performance by the AU Chorus, and a joyous Christmas Party, uniting staff and students in celebration. The evening continues with a solemn Christmas Mass at the Chapel of the Annunciation at 8:30 PM and concludes with the Midnight Mass back at the Suvarnabhumi Campus, followed by refreshments at the John XXIII Conference Center.
