The finance and risk management teams from Assumption University of Thailand (AU)'s Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), Financial Frontiers and Energy Passion have achieved remarkable success in the 2024 Capital Market Case Competition (CMCC) in Investment Banking. Competing against over 1,500 students across 300+ teams, "Financial Frontiers" secured the First Runner-Up title, while "Energy Passion" claimed the Fourth Runner-Up position.
Team Financial Frontiers, featuring Apisit Saeyang, Sitthibutr Weerathippavong, Adichat Maholarn, Kumporn Pengtong, and Apisada Fudkar, wowed judges with their innovative approach to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising strategies. Their standout performance earned them the prestigious First Runner-Up title in the competition.
The Energy Passion team, composed of Supakorn Kantajit, Piyawat Charoenpit, Thunyamas Sabaiying, Pasakorn Tepklang, and Narawit Sittidech, also impressed the panel, securing Fourth Runner-Up with their mastery of sustainable and digitalized financial solutions.
Guided by their advisor, Dr. Chainarin Srinutshasad, both teams showcased their deep understanding of sustainability, digitalization, and the intricacies of investment banking. Their success highlights the quality education and hands-on experience provided by MSME's finance and risk management program.
The CMCC competition is a premier event that challenges participants to develop cutting-edge fundraising methods and M&A strategies aimed at promoting long-term growth and transparency in the Thailand Capital Market.
