The Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology (VMES) has collaboration with the UNIVERSA holding a Hackathon event from October to earlier November 2024. The competition is held on 11 November 2024. Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU), representative from UNIVERSA and VMES members congratulate on the prize winners. The winner of the event receiving 1,000 USD cash is from computer engineering major calling themselves Chillax comprises of Mr. Pongsiri Huang and Ms. Su San Shwe Yee Bo.
The UNIVERSA Hackathon is an interdisciplinary event designed to foster innovation and collaboration among participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Utilizing the UNIVERSA open-source platform, teams are challenged to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, integrating advanced technological tools and creative methodologies. This hackathon emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and the application of theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. The event culminates in project presentations, providing an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their solutions and contribute to the advancement of research and development within the UNIVERSA ecosystem.
