Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has announced the appointments of four new deans, marking a new chapter of academic leadership across key faculties. These appointments, effective from May and June 2025, were officially made by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of Assumption University of Thailand.
Named Dean of the Graduate School of Human Sciences, Dr. Satha will guide the school in advancing interdisciplinary research, graduate education, and human development studies. His appointment is effective from May 1, 2025 to May 31, 2027, succeeding Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset.
Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn
Appointed as Dean of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Dr. Chainarong will lead one of AU’s largest and most dynamic schools, known for its strong international programs and industry ties. His appointment is effective from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2027, succeeding Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhanoos Sutthiphisal.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutthaphut Pandjad
Named Dean of the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutthaphut will oversee a school known for creativity, media innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration. He will assume the position from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2027, succeeding Dr. Marissa Chantamas.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Onouma Thummapol
Appointed as Dean of the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Onouma brings deep experience in nursing education and a passion for community health. Her appointment begins June 1, 2025 and is tenable until May 31, 2027, succeeding Dr. Phat Prapawichar.
