The Office of the Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, successfully organized a “Food Hygiene Standard Certification Ceremony” under the “Clean Food, Good Taste” project. The event aimed to certify compliance with food premises standards according to food sanitation guidelines and promote knowledge and understanding among food and beverage entrepreneurs operating in ABAC Plaza, AU Mall, and ABAC Cafeteria at the Suvarnabhumi Campus.
The ceremony, held at AU Mall, welcomed over 50 entrepreneurs and attendees. The initiative emphasized developing food premises with proper hygiene, ensuring that food sold is clean, safe, and beneficial to consumers.


Mr. Sompol Na Songkhla, Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, entrusted Mr. Aek Wonganant, Director of the Office of the Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, to deliver the opening address and provide warm hospitality to participants.


Gracing the event, Mr. Suwan Phumisawat, Deputy Chief Executive of Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict Municipality, Samut Prakan Province, presented certificates to the entrepreneurs alongside Mr. Chatchai Sookkaew, Acting Director of the Division of Public Health and Environment.
A special highlight of the ceremony was a lecture delivered by Mr. Passakorn Kamares, a Sanitary Researcher - Professional Level, on the topic “Criteria and Methods for Certification of Food Sales Locations Under the Clean Food Good Taste Project Standard.” This informative session provided valuable insights into achieving and maintaining high food hygiene standards.
This event underscored AU’s commitment to fostering a safe and hygienic dining environment for its community, aligning with its mission to enhance the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
