Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Financial and Asset Management Committee convened recently to review its financial policies and asset management strategies, aiming to ensure the university’s long-term sustainability. Chaired by Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, the meeting focused on optimizing asset utilization and financial planning, with a clear mandate to enhance operational efficiency.
The committee includes a range of experts from various fields, bringing together academic and administrative leaders:

Key discussions revolved around refining financial strategies, reviewing asset performance, and aligning resources with the university’s strategic goals. The committee’s work will span from June 2024 to May 2025, with ongoing evaluations to ensure the university's financial health.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Formulating policies for financial planning, monitoring, and asset management, including assessing investments and generating revenue.
- Analyzing financial data to develop long-term strategies for maximizing the university’s assets.
- Reviewing and advising on budgetary policies and financial guidelines to ensure alignment with the university’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborating with relevant departments to develop an annual financial and asset management plan.
The Financial and Asset Management Committee of Assumption University invited The President, Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D. to share his vision, mission and policies regarding the university’s future.
By leveraging the collective expertise of its members and developing forward-thinking strategies, the committee is not only safeguarding the university’s financial health but also positioning it for sustained growth and innovation.
