WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On November 14, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed its newest staff members with an engaging orientation session at the Wiset Srisamut Room in the Cathedral of Learning Building on the Suvarnabhumi Campus. Organized by the Office of Human Resources Management, the orientation aimed to introduce new staff to AU's mission, values, and supportive workplace culture.
The event kicked off at 1:00 PM with a registration period, followed by an introductory video that highlighted AU’s vibrant community and educational mission. Mr. Sompol Na Songkhla, Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, opened the event with an inspiring address on organizational practices, sharing how personal and professional growth aligns with AU’s goals.
Following a brief intermission, Mr. Thitapat Watchalapong, Director of the Office of Human Resources Management, provided an in-depth talk on university regulations and the various welfare benefits available to AU staff. His presentation underscored the university's commitment to supporting its employees and fostering a positive work environment.
The orientation wrapped up with a closing ceremony, leaving attendees with a strong sense of purpose and belonging within the AU family. This orientation was a pivotal step in ensuring that each new staff member feels prepared and welcomed into AU’s dynamic and supportive community.
