WRITER: THEODORE MARIA SCHOOL OF ARTS

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) 's Theodore Maria School of Arts, renowned for fostering global citizenship and cultural exchange, signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 18, 2025, with Kouyuukai Medical Corporation, a prominent healthcare provider based in Japan.

Represented by Dr. Chayada Thanavisuth, Dean of Theodore Maria School of Arts, Mr. Junichiro Sato, Chief Executive Officer of Kouyuukai Medical Corporation, and Dr. Chutamas Sandrarajun, Associate Dean as awitness. The collaboration aims to facilitate internship opportunities for AU students at the distinguished Hanno Geriatric Center in Japan.

The following students will take the internship program at Kouyuukai Medical Corporation

Supervised by Dr. Siriwan Preechanarit, Chairperson, Department of Business Japanese

The internship will provide invaluable hands-on experience, particularly in medical and nursing care, hospitality industries, and immersive training in the Japanese language and culture. Through this initiative, students will gain practical skills and intercultural competence essential for career success both locally and internationally.

Kouyuukai Medical Corporation is well-known for its high standards of elderly care and dedication to integrating compassion with advanced medical practices.

This collaboration marks another milestone in AU's ongoing efforts to expand meaningful international partnerships that offer its students transformative educational experiences and prepare them for dynamic global careers.
