WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and the Community Development Department of Bangsaothong District officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Administrative Office of Bangsaothong Subdistrict, Samut Prakarn Province.
The collaboration focuses on advancing community development through the principles of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, aligning with AU’s mission to share knowledge, resources, and expertise for the betterment of society.
The event began with warm welcoming remarks from local leaders, followed by a detailed discussion on the vision and roadmap for sustainable community development. The Dean from Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design and Assistant of The Dean from Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, AU and Bangsaothong District highlighted the importance of partnerships in achieving impactful, long-term growth.
Key moments of the ceremony included the formal MoU signing, signifying a strong commitment to collaboration, development, and innovation, and a networking session to discuss actionable next steps.
This partnership marks another milestone in AU’s dedication to contributing to local development, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for positive change within the community.
