A delegation from Assumption Samutprakarn School recently visited Assumption University of Thailand (AU), where they were first warmly received by the newly appointed President, Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., and then paid tribute to the Rector Magnificus, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, f.s.g., Ph.D. The delegation, led by Brother Dr. Monthon Prathumrat, Director of Assumption Samutprakarn School, was accompanied by Brother Manit Skanthawat and Brother Nattathorn Suphon, Deputy Directors of the school.
In their initial meeting with Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai, the delegation expressed their heartfelt best wishes as he embarks on his new leadership role. The visit underscored the deep bonds between the two institutions, both guided by the principles and mission of the Brothers of St. Gabriel.
Following this, the delegation met with Rector Magnificus, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, to express their gratitude for his years of dedicated service as. They acknowledged the legacy he leaves behind, emphasizing the significant impact of his leadership on both Assumption University and the broader Gabrielite community.
Rev. Bro. Bancha, reflecting on his tenure, shared, “It has been an honor to serve in the tradition of the Brothers of St. Gabriel. The true joy of this journey has been witnessing the growth of our students and the dedication of our faculty. I am deeply grateful for the support I’ve received over the years and for the opportunity to contribute to a community built on compassion, integrity, and excellence. As I step back, my heart is filled with appreciation for everyone who has walked this path with me. I trust that Assumption University will continue to thrive under the same values that have always guided us.”
