Ms. Marlena Wilson, a second - year nursing student at Assumption University of Thailand (AU), was nominated by the Diabetes Association of Thailand Under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn as the Thailand Young Leader in Diabetes’ representative to attend the Young Leaders in Diabetes training which was taken place in Lisbon (Portugal) on December 5-9, 2022, in parallel to the World Diabetes Congress 2022. The International Diabetes Federation Young Leader in Diabetes (YLD) programme was initiated by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) with the goal of creating a voice for young people living with diabetes worldwide.
