Assumption University of Thailand (AU)'s Assumption Business Leading Entrepreneurship (ABLE) program, led by Dr. Akechai Judkrue, Director of ABLE, recently conducted a site visit to the Enterprise Incubation Center (C-UBI) and the "Say Hi" Probiotic Kimchi production facility in Ratchaburi. The visit, held on November 18, 2024, highlighted the program’s mission to bridge academic innovation with real-world entrepreneurial practices.
The day began with a journey to Jai Foods Co., Ltd., the company behind the innovative probiotic kimchi products. Upon arrival, Dr. Akechai Judkrue and the ABLE team were welcomed by the local entrepreneurs, who presented a comprehensive overview of their business operations. They shared their success in blending traditional fermentation techniques with modern probiotic technology to create health-conscious products.
During the visit, the delegation toured the production facility, gaining insights into the sustainable and efficient methods employed in manufacturing the kimchi. The hands-on experience provided valuable learning opportunities for students and faculty involved in ABLE, reinforcing the importance of innovation in the food and SME sectors.
After the tour, participants enjoyed a networking lunch at Cowboy Café in Ratchaburi before concluding the productive visit. This engagement underscores ABLE’s dedication to fostering strong partnerships with local businesses and supporting entrepreneurial growth.
