Assumption University of Thailand (AU), proudly participated in the MHESI Fair: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND, held from July 22-28, 2024, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). This landmark event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), showcased the immense potential of interdisciplinary studies to drive sustainable economic development in Thailand.

Highlights of the MHESI Fair
The MHESI Fair featured six dynamic exhibition zones, including INSPIRED BY SCIENCE, SCIENCE FOR LIFELONG LEARNING, STARTUP LAUNCHPAD, SCIENCE FOR EXPONENTIAL GROWTH, SCIENCE FOR ALL-WELL BEING, and SCIENCE FOR FUTURE THAILAND. The AU delegation engaged with numerous interactive exhibits and groundbreaking innovations that demonstrated Thailand's capabilities in various scientific fields.
A significant highlight was the display of the 'moon rock from the Chang'e 5 spacecraft,' symbolizing the strong goodwill between Thailand and the People's Republic of China. The AU team also explored cutting-edge VR equipment from a leading Chinese online game developer, gaining insights into the future of immersive technology in education and entertainment.
Educational and Collaborative Opportunities
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran remarked, "The MHESI Fair provides an unparalleled platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. It is inspiring to see the convergence of science, technology, and innovation to create a sustainable future for Thailand. Engaging Activities and Competitions
The fair featured a variety of activities, including national-level competitions such as the ROV Tournament, Innovation Award 2024, and MHESI Music Variety Award 2024. The AU delegation was particularly impressed by the regional competitions, which highlighted the creativity and talent of Thai students and researchers.
Prime Minister Award and Seminars
Key events included the Prime Minister Award 2024 and several insightful seminars on topics such as Innovation for Growth and Sustainability, Deep Tech Startup Ecosystem, and Disruptive Trends in ESG, Network Technology, Blockchain, and Cyber Security. These sessions provided a wealth of knowledge and opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry.
