Students from the Investment Class at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) recently participated in an exclusive learning session at Beyond Securities PCL, gaining valuable insights into wealth management, structured products, and investment strategies.
Welcomed by Khun Kitiwat Akrangsri, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Investment Product Development, Khun Tanut Chinarakbumroong, Manager, Investment Product, and Khun Narunda Rojanaworakarn, Executive Vice President, Wealth Strategy Advisor, the students had the opportunity to engage with top financial experts and explore the evolving world of investment management.
Bridging Theory and Practice
Beyond Securities offers a diverse range of investment options, including mutual funds, fixed income, equities, and offshore investment services. The session introduced AU students to structured products designed for portfolio diversification, capital protection, and yield enhancement, alongside alternative investments such as fixed income notes and private credit markets.
A key focus of the session was the role of financial advisors in simplifying complex investment strategies. Experts from Beyond Securities emphasized the importance of translating intricate financial data into clear, actionable insights to help investors make informed decisions.
A Unique Investment Approach
Students also learned about Beyond Securities' distinctive portfolio classification system, which is structured into three investment themes:
🔹 Espresso – for unconstrained portfolios
🔹 Latte – for mixed portfolios
🔹 Shakerato – another category of unconstrained portfolios
This innovative approach provided AU students with a real-world understanding of portfolio management and risk assessment, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate the financial industry.
