0n February 18, 2025, student representatives from the Investment class at the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), recently participated in an exclusive offsite learning session at WeBull Thailand. The session was hosted by Khun Chonladet Khemaratana, Thailand CEO of WeBull Securities and President of the Thai Fintech Association.
During the visit, Khun Chonladet shared his expertise on portfolio construction and provided valuable insights into the evolving fintech landscape. He emphasized how technology is shaping financial markets in Thailand and globally, offering students a deeper understanding of investment trends and fintech innovations.
Beyond theoretical learning, students had the rare opportunity to pitch their investment portfolios to Khun Chonladet and receive expert feedback. They also explored WeBull’s advanced trading platform and gained exposure to the company’s cutting-edge operations.
Reflecting on the experience, students shared their key takeaways:
“The visit to WeBull was highly educational. We gained a better understanding of fintech advancements and received expert feedback on our ETF portfolios, which was incredibly helpful for our improvement. Seeing the WeBull office and its behind-the-scenes operations made the experience even more exclusive and insightful.”
Students also explored Thailand’s fintech advancements, including QR payments and the Phuket stablecoin sandbox project, while discussing the challenges of ETF adoption in the country. The session reinforced the importance of financial technology in modern investment strategies and provided students with actionable knowledge for their future careers.
