Louis Nobiron School of Music at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has successfully launched its new record label, "AMBER" – AU Music Business and Entrepreneurship Records. More than just a music label, AMBER represents the culmination of over 20 years of the School of Music’s commitment to fostering musical talent and entrepreneurial spirit. The name "AMBER," symbolizing warmth, energy, and timeless charm, reflects the values of AU's School of Music, just as amber preserves history. AMBER provides students with an immersive learning experience, allowing them to develop their creativity and potential from day one.
Students enrolled in the BA Music Entrepreneurship program have gained hands-on experience working in the music industry, learning by doing every step of the way. From creating music and managing a record label to promoting and releasing their work to the public, students received guidance from industry experts and esteemed professors. This real-world experience prepares them to become capable and innovative music entrepreneurs, ready to contribute to Thailand’s music industry.

Press Conference Highlights
On Monday, September 23, 2024, the official AMBER launch press conference took place, featuring remarks from Asst. Prof. Dr. Pannawit Sanitnarathorn, Dean of School of Music, who shared insights into the vision behind AMBER and its role in preparing students for successful careers in music. The event included a mini-concert showcasing six student artists, as well as a special performance by the renowned band Pause, who played a mentoring role in guiding the students’ creative work.
The press event also included an AMBER Exhibition held at CL Building, 21st floor, during 24-26 September 2024, offering a deeper glimpse into the creative processes and projects of the students. The exhibition featured lyrics videos, artwork, merchandise, and other creative outputs that highlighted the diverse talents of AU's students. Attendees had the chance to explore these unique displays, which reflected not only the students' musical journeys but also their entrepreneurial skills in product design, branding, and digital content creation. The exhibition was a central part of AMBER’s mission to combine artistic expression with business acumen.
The event attracted a star-studded lineup of industry professionals, artists, and esteemed guests, including Khun Gamthonng Wongsaree, Executive at Muzik Move; Khun Chodchapak Pholthanachod (Pon Clash), Executive at Boxx Music; Khun Tik Playground, renowned singer and Executive at Homerun; Khun Gop Postcard, famous songwriter and founder of Kamikaze, and many more. Key figures from the public and private sectors, such as Khun Sirinan Siripanich, Vice Minister of Industry; Khun Sakolkorn Sakavee, Chairman of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings; and Dr. Varoth Chotpitayasunondh, Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health, were also in attendance to show their support.

A Charitable Initiative with a Meaningful Impact
In addition to its focus on student development, AMBER is collaborating with the National Defence College Students on its first major project: a charity concert titled “See by Ears, Hear by Heart”. This event, now in its third year, supports vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, the elderly, and youth in correctional facilities, by giving them a platform to showcase their talents, share their music, and perform alongside some of Thailand's top artists.
The charity concert will feature performances from well-known artists such as Jetset’er, Ae Jirakorn, Playground, Mean, Pause, The Parkinson, Lomosonic, Season Five, and many more. The event will take place at MBK Center, Avenue Zone A, on Monday, September 30, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM. Everyone is warmly invited to attend, support these talented individuals, and enjoy the star-studded performances.

Welcome to AMBER, where we are shaping the future of Thailand's music industry!
