Assumption University of Thailand (AU) recently hosted its much-anticipated Career Week 2024 at the AU Plaza, The Cathedral of Learning Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus, from August 27-28. The event was a resounding success, offering students invaluable opportunities to connect with leading employers and take significant steps toward their future careers.
This year’s Career Week was the biggest and most vibrant yet, with over 2,000 job positions available from 100 top companies across various industries. The Career Exhibition was a highlight, featuring diverse sectors that gave students a comprehensive view of potential career paths. Alongside this, Career Planning sessions provided personalized guidance, helping students map out their career journeys with confidence. Practical Career Testing was also available, allowing students to identify their strengths and align them with suitable career opportunities.

The event ran from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. each day, with students actively engaging in networking and learning. Many students expressed their excitement about the connections they made and the wealth of information they gained. For those seeking internships, full-time positions, or simply exploring their options, Career Week 2024 proved to be an invaluable resource.
An additional feature of this year’s event was the promotion of Super Resume, where students were encouraged to create their Super Resume on superresume.com before the event. This initiative enabled students to connect with employers more efficiently and showcase their skills and experiences in a modern, digital format.
Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., AU President, shared his thoughts on the event: "Career Week 2024 exemplifies our commitment to preparing students for success beyond the classroom. The connections made here today will open doors to new opportunities and help our students build bright futures."
As the event concluded, it was clear that Career Week 2024 had made a significant impact, leaving students more prepared and inspired to embark on their professional journeys.
