As part of the FBT4005 Nanotechnology course at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ‘ s, Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Laemthong Chuenchom from Prince of Songkla University delivered a thought-provoking lecture on "Nanotechnology in Life Sciences and Industrial Applications".

The session explored the innovative use of agricultural bio-wastes as alternative precursors, rooted in the principles of a sustainable bioeconomy. Dr. Laemthong's engaging presentation inspired students in the Food Biotechnology program to think creatively about real-world challenges. The lecture emphasized the potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration in science and technology, engineering, business, and entrepreneurship, broadening their perspectives on innovation.


 

 

Students left the session energized, ready to explore new possibilities and contribute to sustainable solutions.
