New Beginnings: AU Welcomes Fresh Faces at Induction Day

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as Assumption University of Thailand (AU) rolled out the red carpet for its newest students on Induction Day, March 22, 2025. Held at the John XXIII Conference Center, the event was a warm welcome to incoming students, offering them a taste of University life, essential resources, and a chance to connect with peers and faculty.

The day began bright and early as students traveling from AU’s Suvarnabhumi Campus made their way to the venue. Upon arrival, they registered and collected their study materials, setting the stage for an eventful morning of introductions, inspiration, and insights into their academic journey.

A highlight of the day was the official welcome address by Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Vice President for Academic Affairs. Her words resonated with students, encouraging them to embrace their University experience, explore new opportunities, and make the most of their time at AU.

Students were then introduced to a variety of activities and engagement opportunities by AU’s Student Affairs representatives, who outlined the numerous ways students can get involved in campus life. From clubs and organizations to leadership programs, the message was clear: there’s something for everyone at AU.

The morning wrapped up with faculty introductions and department meet-and-greets, giving students a chance to engage with their professors and senior peers. This session allowed for open discussions, questions, and valuable insights into their respective academic disciplines.

With a successful Induction Day behind them, students left feeling energized and ready to embark on their AU journey.
