Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly hosted Professor Liu Shugen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xihua University, and his delegation.
During their visit, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, along with leaders from various faculties, engaged in productive discussions, emphasizing the success of our collaborative efforts in student exchanges, faculty interactions, dual degree programs, and international research applications. These initiatives support the "Belt and Road" initiative and cultivate outstanding international talents.
The highlight of the visit was the signing of the agreement on the "Joint Establishment of Engineering Doctoral Programs and Co-training of Master's and Doctoral Students." This agreement signifies a new era of comprehensive cooperation between our universities.
The event also featured an unveiling ceremony for the new building dedicated to the engineering master's and doctoral programs, showcasing our commitment to high-quality talent cultivation.
A briefing session was held for AU students interested in the Xihua University 3+1 Dual Degree Program, further strengthening our international educational ties.
The visit concluded with a warm discussion with Xihua University faculty members pursuing their doctoral degrees in Thailand and a tour of our beautiful Suvarnabhumi Campus.
