The Theodore Maria School of Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) rolled out the red carpet for its soon-to-be graduates at the Graduation Orientation 2/2024 on February 21, 2025. Held at the John XXIII Conference Center at AU’s Suvarnabhumi Campus, the event set the stage for a momentous transition from University life to professional pursuits.


The morning commenced with an atmosphere brimming with excitement as students arrived for registration. The formal proceedings opened with warm remarks, followed by an inspiring address by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, underscoring the values of perseverance, integrity, and lifelong learning.


Adding to the ceremony’s significance, Rev. Bro. Amnuay Yoonprayong, f.s.g.,Ph.D., Vice President for Moral Development Education and Dr. Chayada Thanavisuth, Dean of the Theodore Maria School of Arts, imparted words of wisdom, urging students to embrace challenges and channel their education into meaningful contributions to society.


A highlight of the event was a keynote speech delivered by K. Thanawuth Kanokshinawath, a distinguished guest speaker, who shared insights on career development and navigating the evolving professional landscape. His speech was followed by an address from the President of the Assumption University Alumni Association (AUAA), who emphasized the importance of staying connected with the university’s vibrant alumni network.
The session continued with an engaging talk by A. Piya Sailomraksa from AU’s Center for Career Development and Counseling (CCDC), offering graduates practical guidance on career paths, job market trends, and personal growth.
Student representatives also took the stage, delivering heartfelt reflections on their academic journey, friendships forged, and the transformative experiences that defined their four years at AU. A nostalgic video tribute (VTR) encapsulated their time at the University, eliciting smiles and fond memories among attendees.


The event culminated in a Certificate Ceremony recognizing the dedication of the Arts Student Committee, followed by closing remarks and an evaluation session. As graduates departed, they carried not only certificates but also a renewed sense of purpose and confidence in their future endeavors.
With the Theodore Maria School of Arts equipping them with knowledge, skills, and values, these graduates are now poised to make their mark on the world. As they step beyond the halls of AU, they do so with the assurance that their alma mater stands behind them, cheering them on every step of the way.
