Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was delighted to welcome a delegation of executives from Soegijapranata Catholic University, Indonesia on May 17, 2024. Organized by the Office of International Affairs, the visit aimed to strengthen international ties and showcase AU's vibrant campus.
Soegijapranata Catholic University, also known as Unika Soegijapranata, is a prominent private Catholic university located in Semarang, Indonesia. Established in 1982 and named after Albertus Soegijapranata, the first native Indonesian archbishop, the university offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence, research, and community service.
The executives enjoyed a comprehensive tour of AU's Hua Mak Campus, including highlights, The Chapel of Annunication, the Central Library, Bookstore and the gardens. The delegation was impressed by AU's commitment to academic excellence and holistic education.
The visit concluded with a friendly exchange of ideas and a shared commitment to future collaboration. We look forward to more such fruitful exchanges, enhancing educational experiences for students at both universities.
