On January 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Theodore Maria School of Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) hosted a group of distinguished lecturers from Mahasarakham University (MSU) at its Suvarnabhumi Campus. The meeting took place in SG 106 Room, St. Gabriel's Hall.
Mahasarakham University (MSU), located in Maha Sarakham province, is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and innovative research. It is the only Thai university offering postgraduate programs in paleontology and a Bachelor of Arts in the Khmer language. Additionally, its Faculty of Education earned the title of Thailand's Best Education Faculty in 2010 by the National Education Office.
The visit highlighted discussions on academic collaboration between MSU and AU, particularly in arts and humanities. Topics included joint research opportunities, student exchange programs, and collaborative workshops aimed at enriching the educational experiences of students and faculty.

Dr. Chayada Thanavisuth, Dean of the Theodore Maria School of Arts, commented:
“Hosting colleagues from Mahasarakham University was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and explore pathways for collaboration. Their expertise and innovative academic programs complement AU’s vision of academic excellence and global engagement.”
On this occasion, Dr. Hathaichanok Komintarachat, Chairperson of English for International Business; Dr. Weeraya Donsomsakulkij, Assistant to the Dean for Quality Assurance; and A. Sethawut Techasan, a lecturer in English for International Business, also extended a warm welcome to the distinguished MSU lecturers.
