Assumption University of Thailand (AU), hosted a visit by a delegation from the Timorese Higher Education on October 9,2024 in the morning, at the Hua Mak Campus. The visitors, Dr. Acácio Cardoso Amaral, President of Betano Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Carmelindo Caetano, the Ministry of Justice, Dr. Fernando Gama from the Ministry of Education, and Sr. José Piato, National Adviser, were on a mission to survey Academic programs with the aim of eventually setting up a Doctoral study program in Education, in Dili.
Drawing upon its unique distinction of having effectively hosted Timorese Undergraduate and Graduate Students in their academic pursuits, Assumption University was pleased to share ideas and envision joint education collaborations with the Timorese representatives, pivoting on follow up plans to be implemented in the near future.
