BANGKOK, Dec. 9, 2024 — Assumption University of Thailand (AU) opened its doors to a delegation of Chinese students today, offering an exclusive glimpse into its world-class facilities and innovative programs. The visit showcased the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and academic excellence.

The students toured the renowned Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science, and Technology (VMES), known for producing trailblazers in aeronautics, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence. Established in 1990, VMES recently merged with the Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology, creating a powerhouse of interdisciplinary engineering education. Visitors were introduced to cutting-edge laboratories and programs, including Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and AI-driven Mechatronics.

Beyond engineering, the delegation explored the CA Studio, a creative hub promoting artistic innovation; the John Paul II Sports Center, a sprawling complex featuring fitness facilities and indoor courts; and the Aquatic Center, a venue built to international standards for swimming and diving.

“This visit is a testament to AU’s dedication to cultivating global connections and providing transformative educational experiences,” a university spokesperson said. The tour concluded with discussions on cultural exchange, leaving students inspired by the intersection of education, technology, and innovation.
