WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
A group of bright and enthusiastic 19 students and 2 Professors from Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore visited Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) for an engaging day of learning, cultural exchange, and new friendships. The visit offered them a firsthand experience of AU’s academic environment, vibrant campus life, and the rich cultural heritage of Thailand.
Hosted by School of Biotechnology , the Singaporean visitors took part in interactive discussions, explored the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, and gained insights into AU’s dynamic programs. The exchange sparked lively conversations on education, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration.


Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore’s first polytechnic, has built a reputation for academic excellence and innovation since its establishment in 1954. The institution is particularly renowned for its engineering and applied sciences programs, while also emphasizing holistic education through leadership development and co-curricular achievements. It has received prestigious recognitions such as the President’s Award for the Environment for its commitment to sustainability and excellence awards for student contributions to the community.
This visit strengthened MoU between Singapore Polytechnic and Assumption University of Thailand, opening doors for future collaborations and student exchanges. Both institutions share a commitment to nurturing global-minded students who are ready to take on the world.
