Assumption University of Thailand (AU) organized AU Open House via online on February 12, 2022. The AU Open House aims to introduce 3 new programs of Assumption University which are 1) Imagineer Media and Entreprenrurship, offered by Albert Laurence School of Communications Arts, 2) AU Double - Degree Program (AU DUET) and 3) Design and Digital Innovation, offered by Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.

The AU Open House was opened by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President. Then Dr. Soonthorn Pibulcharoensit, The Head of the AU University Registrar introduced the background information of the 3 programs.
The detail of Imagineer Media and Entrepreneurship (IME) for Communication Arts in the future was delivered by Dr. Marissa Chantamas, Dean of Albert Laurence School of Communications Arts. This was accompanied by the School’s Alumni, Ms. Natcha Boonpong.
The key concept for this program is the development of graduates to capture the myriad of opportunities available in the Metaverse. Students would have four critical skills in their studies, which are management (business), communications, design, and technology.
After that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Dean of Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics introduced the AU Double - Degree Program (AU DUET) in which students can mix and match 10 curriculums from 5 faculties. This programs have been designed to breakdown the limitation of traditional university education, where students have no flexibility of choice. The core philosophy of the AU DUET program is choice, which enables the creation of a new breed of graduates, who have a unique skill set serving the S-curve industries. Together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul were:
- Dr. Marissa Chantamas, Dean of Albert Laurence School of Communications Arts.
- Dr. Songsak Channarukul, Dean of Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology.
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin, Dean of Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology.
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Pannawit Sanitnarathorn, Dean of Louis Nobiron School of Music.
- Mr. Pitchyen Hongpakdee, CEO, Smart ID Group Ltd.
Last but not least, the 3rd new program, Design and Digital Innovation (DDI), was introduced by Dr. Suwaree Tantanawat, Deputy Head Department of Department of Design and Digital Innovation, Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics. DDI: Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Design & Digital Innovation is an integrated program jointly organized by 5 faculties of Assumption University, which are;
- Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics
- Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology
- Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts
- Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design
- and Louis Nobiron School of Music
To organize learning and train students to be real entrepreneurs. The students in this program will be selected into the house according to the skill and aptitude of the person.
