3 scholarship students from Wang Klai Kang Won School visited Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), at Office of the President, De Montfort Hall, Hua Mak Campus. This visit aimed to provide the students information on how to live and study at the Assumption University before their 1st year study in 1/2022.
The University gave 3 Bachelor’s degree scholarships under the celebrations of Navamindrabopitr 72nd Birthday of His Majesty the King Rama IX. The students with this scholarship will pursue their degrees in the faculty of Theodore Maria School of Arts.

A group of students from Wang Klai Kang Won School, who have been granted the AU scholarships to pursue their undergraduate studies at Assumption University of Thailand, paid a courtesy visited to Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President Magnificus, at Hua Mak Campus to formally introduce themselves and receive the President's encouragements, advice and proper guidance for their study success.

These students will be enrolled in the AU’s undergraduate programs: for instance Business English Department and Business Chinese Department of Theodore Maria School of Arts among many other schools' programs. They were awarded the AU Scholarship funds marking the auspicious occasion of “Navamindrabopitr 72nd Birthday of His Majesty the King Rama IX”
Currently, 33 students from Wang Klai Kang Won School have been granted the AU scholarship funds with 9 scholarships annually extended for these student recipients for their educational opportunities at Assumption University.
Moreover, in 1998, Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip Martin Komolmas, AU President Emeritus, Assumption University of Thailand also donated the scholarship funds to H. M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) on the occasion of his sixth cycle birthday. The donated proceeds went towards His Majesty's charitable foundations under the Royal Patronage for further distribution to children of civil servants or any students in financial needs from 1999 onwards.
The AU Scholarship Students are entitled to the following benefits:
- Total amount of tuition fees
- Educational fees
- Variety of related fees
- Accommodation Fees of University dormitory.
