Assumption University of Thailand (AU), in collaboration with Bangpakok 9 International Hospital, successfully conducted a flu vaccination drive on Friday, August 23, 2024. The event was organized by the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) and saw an enthusiastic turnout from lecturers, staff, janitors, students, and their families.


 

 

 

The vaccination drive was held across two campuses to ensure maximum participation. The Hua Mak Campus hosted the morning session at the Salle d’ Expo Room from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., while the Suvarnabhumi Campus facilitated the afternoon session at Room SR101 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The quadrivalent influenza vaccine provided protection against four strains: A/H1N1, A/H3N2, B/Victoria, and B/Yamagata, offering comprehensive coverage against the flu for the upcoming season.

The initiative was part of AU's ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of its community. The OHRM ensured a smooth registration process, with participants able to register at their convenience either on-campus or via email before the event.

Feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their appreciation for the convenience and care provided. One participant shared, "This vaccination drive is a great initiative by the university. It’s reassuring to know that AU is actively looking out for our health and well-being."


 

 

Mr. Thitapat Watchalapong, Director of the Office of Human Resources, commented on the success of the event, stating, "We are thrilled with the turnout and the smooth execution of this vaccination drive. The health of our AU community is our top priority, and we are proud to have partnered with Bangpakok 9 International Hospital to make this possible."
