AU Students Honored with Prestigious World Peace Ethics Awards

On April 1st 2021, the World Peace Ethics Club (World-PEC) by Dr. Petcharat Lovichakorntikul, Director of World-PEC presented the 12th World-PEC Contest 2021 Awards to 6 AU awardees.The purpose of this award presentation is to recognize top awardees of the 12th World Peace Ethics Contest for Young People who are remarkable in their competences in the Ethics test, which reflects that young people can learn and understand ethical values with inner peace and can forward this to their family, society, and country. Finally, it can create love, harmony, and true peace.On this occasion, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President - Rector Magnificus graciously presided over the opening ceremony. He gave a welcome speech and indicated the AU Uniqueness and Identity in which ethics plays such a considerable role.

AU Paticipated in 13th Pre-elementary Schools Melodion Festival

Assumption University of Thailand (AU), Participates in The Pre-elementary Schools Melodion Festival was initiated by the Melodion Association and many organizations such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Royal Thai Army Band Department and Assumption University of Thailand to Commemorate King Bhumibol Adulyadej and to Honor King Maha Vajiralongkorn.

Assumption College Sriracha Students’ Educational Tour of Assumption University

A group of about 160 students from Assumption College Sriracha visited AU Suvarnabhumi Campus to observe the international level’s teaching and learning systems on April 7, 2021. The students were welcomed by officers from the AU School of Relationship and Public Relation and the Office of the University Registrar and given a guided campus tour visiting several major places.

AU Songkran Celebration 2021

Thailand’s most famous annual Songkran festival marking the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year was as usual celebrated at Assumption University of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Campus. However, this year’s festivity taking place on April 8, 2021, was simply carried out with only the essentially basic rituals to preserve or maintain the traditional or cultural aspects.

Closing Ceremony of GSB Yuwaphat Rakthin Project 2020

In collaboration with Government Saving Bank (GSB), Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University of Thailand, by Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Dean, has appointed a working committee to oversee the Yuwaphat Rakthin (ยุวพัฒน์รักษ์ถิ่น) project which has the objectives to support the economic sustainability and the well- being of the local communities and social enterprises in Samut Prakan area.
On April 8,2021, the project closing ceremony was held at the AU Plaza, Suvarnabhumi Campus. Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President - Rector Magnificus, gave a warm welcome to the GSB representatives and all the project participants including the local business owners, the working committee, chairpersons, lecturers, and students.

AU Student Golf Team among Top Teams of “Chang Golf U Champion Cup 2021” to Compete in Final Round!

The AU Golf Team which competed in the recent "Chang Golf U Champion Cup 2021" Tournament won the enviable "2nd Runner Up” Award of the Qualifying Round 1. Taking place during April 10-11, 2021 at Lakeview Resort & Golf Club, Phetchaburi province.

AU DX 2021 #2: Designing Active Learning for Online Classrooms

AU DX 2021 is a series of workshops designed to facilitate the transition towards digital transformation in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Assumption University of Thailand (AU) by Intelligent Systems Research Laboratory (ISL) Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology organized the workshop AU DX 2021. There are three workshops to offer. All of them are for FREE! The project is being support by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
