AU Students Distinguish Themselves with Top Honors in the “Ambassadors for a Day Contest” 

Ms. Apichaya Choppradrit, student from Theodore Maria School of Arts; Ms. Sumonrat Supkeit, from Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science; and Ms.Thamonwan Radompeng, from Martin de tour School of Management and Economics, emerged among prestigious winners of the “Ambassadors for a Day Contest” recently launched by a group of 11 embassies in Thailand with female ambassadors and 6 International or UN related Organizations to mark International Woman’s Day.

Seminar on Economic Benefits of Hemp and Marijuana (Cannabis)

The worthwhile and highly beneficial seminar providing participants with overall relevant information, facts and details including the economic benefits of the Hemp and Marijuana (Cannabis) in Thailand was recently organized by Assumption University of Thailand on March 6, 2021 at the Hall of Fame, Coronation Hall, Hua Mak Campus.

AU Students Won in “Chon Chang Graphic Design Battle” Contest

A very big congratulations to the winners of “Chon Chang Graphic Design Battle” Season 6, Miss Chonlathee Jaywaree and Mr. Tul, 3rd year students From the Department of Visual Communication Design, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University.
Thank you to the advisor team, Asst. Prof. Theerawat Pojvibulsiri from the Department of Computer Generated Imagery and A. Chalitaporn Yamoon and A. Khonteeneung Saenghiruna from the Department of Visual Communication Design who inspired, supported, encouraged students along the competition.

AU Student Golfers, who participated in the BCPG Junior Golf Open 2021 (for the category of the 19-23-year contestants) at the Phoenix Gold Golf & Country, ChonBuri Province, during March 13-14, 2021, were awarded outstanding prizes; achieving excellent performances.

Communication Arts Students Presented Minor Hotels Academy Website Awards

Students from Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) received the prestigious Minor Hotels Academy Website Awards. These awards presented by Mr. Janil Jose Samson, Director of Learning and Development, Minor Hotels Co. Ltd. are parts of the subject of the ART3721 Interactive Media, Visual Communication Arts Department. Award presentation took place on March 19, 2021 at Co-Working Space, Assumption Hall, Hua Mak Campus.

A group of 6 AU graduate students from various countries: German, India, China and Bangladesh spent a day touring Assumption University of Thailand's Suvarnabhumi Campus on March 19, 2021. The group was accompanied by Mr. Glen Vivian Chatelier, Director, Office of International Affairs.

AU Student Achieves "Golf Championship" of TJDT TOUR (Tournament)

Congratulations to Ms. Masarina Rattanavoraviroj, an AU Freshman from Theodore Maria School of Arts, who has exhibited outstanding golf talents & excellence: becoming a "Golf Champion" Class S Girl of TJDT TOUR in the Thailand! The Junior Development Tour Final Master Championship 2020-2021 recently took place during March 22-24, 2021 at the Alpine Golf Club, Pathum Thani province.

High School Students’ Educational Tour of Assumption University’ Sports Facilities

A group of students from a popular Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksapattanakarn School visited the AU Suvarnabhumi Campus on March 25, 2021; surveying the modern sports complex & facilities as part of their sports related subject’s special field trip. The visiting team viewed the extraordinary AU Center for Sports and Physical Fitness (CSPF).Mr. Nukul Chaisuriya, Director,Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, Office of The Vice President for Student Affairs, and Mr. Vrong Chinvanthananond, Library Staff, welcomed, provided guidance and explanation of the existing facilities to the excited and eager to learn young high school visitors who were given a guided tour to inspect other several well- equipped sports complexes which included the 500-Seat Indoor Tennis Court.

AU DX 2021 #1: Creating Learning Content for Online Platforms

AU DX 2021 is a series of workshops designed to facilitate the transition towards digital transformation in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Assumption University of Thailand (AU) by Intelligent Systems Research Laboratory (ISL) Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology organized the workshop AU DX 2021. There are three workshops to offer. All of them are for FREE! The project is being support by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
