Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake with a lively and memorable celebration that blended tradition, delicious food, and reflection on AU’s legacy. Alongside the festivities, the university proudly marked 40 years of graduate studies, showcasing its enduring commitment to academic excellence.

A Campus Alive with Celebration
AU’s Lunar New Year festivities brought together students, faculty, and visitors to enjoy mouthwatering dishes from school departments and local food trucks. The air was filled with laughter and excitement as red envelopes—a symbol of luck and prosperity—were handed out, adding a touch of magic to the day.

Traditional Chinese delicacies, cultural elements, and the cheerful spirit of togetherness made the event truly special. It was a celebration of the many cultures that enrich the AU community.


 

 

 

Presidential Message: Wisdom and Hope in the Year of the Snake
Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of Assumption University, delivered a heartfelt Lunar New Year message to Chinese students, parents, and partner universities in China. Key points included:
