In a landmark event held at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ’s Hua Mak Campus, the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) and Bueng Yitho Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 9, 2024. This agreement marked a significant step forward in enhancing educational and community health initiatives.
The ceremony, which took place in the Seminar Room of De Montfort Hall, began at 10:00 a.m. with an academic address by Dean of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS). This was followed by welcoming remarks from the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
A presentation on the collaboration was given by Associate Dean offering attendees detailed insights into the planned initiatives and the mutual benefits of the partnership. The Mayor of Bueng Yitho Municipality's representative delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of this collaboration for the local community.
The MoU signing ceremony was the highlight of the event, formalizing the commitment between Assumption University of Thailand and Bueng Yitho Municipality. Following the signing, a group photo session captured this momentous occasion, and the event concluded with networking opportunities and refreshments, fostering further discussions and engagements among attendees.
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, President of AU, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. “This MoU signifies our commitment to advancing educational excellence and community health. We are thrilled to partner with Bueng Yitho Municipality, and we look forward to the positive impact this collaboration will have on our students and the community,” he said.
