Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ’s Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts hosted a captivating seminar yesterday, titled "The Charm of Mystery: Why Ghost Stories Still Captivate Listeners and the Transition from Radio to Podcast" The event, held at the Suvarnabhumi Campus, drew a large audience of students, faculty, and enthusiasts of the supernatural, exploring the undying allure of ghost stories and their evolution into the podcast era.
Keynote speakers, experts in media studies and podcasting, engaged attendees with in-depth discussions on the psychological and cultural impact of ghost stories, emphasizing their enduring popularity across various media.


The seminar featured P'Jack from The Ghost Radio, Khun Watcharaphon Fukjaidee, who shared his extensive experience in storytelling and discussed the seamless transition of ghost stories from traditional radio to the engaging format of podcasts. His insights provided a unique perspective on how these tales adapt and thrive in new media environments.
The event featured interactive panels where specialists explored the technological advancements that have allowed ghost stories to flourish in digital formats, and highlighted the creative storytelling techniques unique to podcasts.
This seminar is part of AU’s initiative to blend cultural heritage with modern media tools, enriching the educational experience for its community.
