The Assumption University of Thailand (AU) Local Chapter of the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) successfully hosted the ALSA AU Talk 2025 on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Seminar Room, De Montfort Hall, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), Hua Mak Campus.

The event brought together legal experts, students, and faculty to discuss the theme, “Youth and Modern Legal Thinking” (เด็กและเยาวชนกับความคิดทางกฎหมายสมัยใหม่). This thought-provoking session aimed to inspire students to explore innovative perspectives in law while addressing key challenges facing today’s youth.


 

 

 

The event opened with a warm welcome which set the tone for a day of engaging discussions. Distinguished guest speakers, Pol. Lt. Col. Prawut Wongsinin, the Director-General of the Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection, Ministry of Justice, delivered insightful talks on legal innovation and its impact on the younger generation.

The agenda also included an interactive Question Session, where participants engaged directly with the speakers, sparking vibrant discussions on law and its role in modern society. Certificates were awarded to attendees and new ALSA members, celebrating their active participation and commitment to the legal community.

ALSA AU Talk 2025 exemplifies AU ’s commitment to fostering global perspectives and critical thinking in its students, ensuring they are well-prepared to become leaders in the legal field.
