Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was abuzz with excitement as the Graduate School of Human Sciences held its orientation for Semester 1/2024 on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Salle d’ Expo, Hua Mak Campus. The event marked the beginning of a new academic journey for our enthusiastic new students.

One of the highlights was the introduction of the Dean, Program Directors, and Faculty Members. Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, Dean of the Graduate School of Human Sciences, along with key program directors, presented their programs and offered valuable guidance to the new students.

An engaging session titled Connect & Collaborate: Self-Discovery and Building Connections, led by Dr. Parvathy Varma and her team, provided students with opportunities to engage in self-discovery and build connections with their peers. This interactive session aimed to help students create a strong support network and enhance their university experience.

Following this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Poonpilas Asavisanu shared practical advice for new students, ensuring they felt prepared to navigate their academic and social lives at the university. The Student Committee representative also delivered a talk, giving insights into student life and activities.

The orientation concluded with a delightful buffet lunch, where students had the chance to relax and mingle with their new classmates and faculty members.

AU is thrilled to welcome all new students and looks forward to a successful and enriching semester ahead.
