Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science proudly hosted a highly successful Nursing Induction Camp on June 22, 2024. Held at the vibrant Hua Mak Campus, this event welcomed new nursing students with an exciting day of activities and bonding experiences.
The induction camp kicked off at 8:30 AM with an enthusiastic welcome from the Dean of Nursing, Dr. Phat Prapawichar, who emphasized the importance of dedication, compassion, and lifelong learning in the nursing profession. Dr. Phat Prapawichar remarked, "Our goal is to prepare our students not only academically but also emotionally and mentally for the challenges of nursing. Today marks the beginning of their journey towards becoming skilled and compassionate nurses."
Participants engaged in various interactive activities and team-building exercises designed to foster camaraderie and a sense of community among the students and instructurs The day concluded with a tour of the campus, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of their new academic environment.
Feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many students expressed their excitement and readiness to embark on their nursing education at AU.
The event was organized by a dedicated team student development committee, chair by A. Napaswan N., and suphomore student, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. The Nursing Induction Camp marks the beginning of a series of orientation activities aimed at integrating new students into the university community.
