Industrial Technology Visit
AU SIMBA program has arranged a trip for SIMBA students to explore current industrial technology. Our SIMBA students visited SMC (Thailand) LTD. Rayong Eastern Seaboard Industrial, on 4th March 2025. SMC was established in the year 1994 at Bangkadi Industrial Park, Pathumthani, Thailand. The products of the SMC are mainly valves industries such as Food, Beverage, Robotics, Automation, etcs. The company has SMC factory and SMC training center in Rayong Eastern Seaboard industrial. There are several centers around Thailand such as Lampoon, Nakorn Ratchasrima, Samutsakorn, etcs.
Our SIMBA students have seen the real industries work environment with high technology involve such as iIot (industrial Internet of things), industrial 4.0 where all the data can be monitored and stored with the real and actual usage. The training is provided to improve industrial life quality and SMC has invest on this service to their customers.
Overall, SIMBA students have a great experience and enjoyed their visit to SMC (Thailand). The event was arranged by Graduate Studies, and Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology (VMES) and Assumption University of Thailand (AU) as the main sponsor.
