On May 28, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed new students to the Freshmen Orientation 1/2024. The event, held from 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the John Paul II Sports Center on the Suvarnabhumi Campus, was designed to equip freshmen with the essential knowledge and skills for a successful university experience.
The event included a series of informative sessions covering academic systems, student development activities, and basic quality assurance in higher education. Additionally, students had the opportunity to interact with peers, senior students, lecturers, and university administrators, fostering a sense of community and support.
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, President of AU, delivered an inspiring speech to motivate and encourage the new students as they embarked on their academic journey, saying;

Dear Vice Presidents, Deans, Faculty, Staff, and Freshmen, Welcome to Assumption University! I'm excited to speak with you today as you start this new chapter of your life. Today marks the beginning of a journey filled with opportunities, growth, and discovery. At Assumption University, we see ourselves as a global community of learners, inspired by Christian values.
