Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly marks a significant milestone in its commitment to the creative economy, digitalization, and sustainability. On February 28, 2025, the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts hosted the CCC Workshop 2025 at Hotel Nikko Bangkok—a dynamic event where 88 talented students demonstrated the power of creative communication to drive social change—and showcased its pioneering Bachelor of Communication Arts in Creative Commercial Communication (CCC) program.
Dr. Marissa Chantamas, Dean, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, shared her insights on the event’s impact:
"Communication for Change is a theme that embodies the mission of the School in developing students' potential through projects that enrich society. It recognizes the power of communication as a positive agent of change. The presentation day is a culmination of months of hard work and dedication. It is the showcase of mentoring from alumni, who have succeeded in their careers. This is an affirmation of the School's continuous alumni engagement in helping the younger generation prepare for careers in communication that drive change."
CCC Workshop 2025: Fostering Innovation and Social Impact
Under the visionary leadership of Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, the CCC Workshop 2025 brought together 88 students, organized into eight teams, to address two pressing societal challenges: Regenerative Tourism and Mental Health. During the workshop, students presented innovative campaigns that combined creativity, strategic thinking, and social responsibility to create impactful solutions.
Four teams reimagined tourism as a tool for cultural renewal and environmental sustainability, while the other four focused on raising awareness and support for mental health. These projects not only highlighted the students’ exceptional communication skills but also underscored the potential for creative ideas to drive transformative change.
