The Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) successfully hosted a highly engaging workshop, "Coffee Cupping Test," on January 15, 2025. The event, held in Room E52 of the Engineering Hall at Hua Mak Campus, welcomed coffee enthusiasts, students, and faculty for an afternoon of discovery and sensory exploration.

Mr. Nateepat Pitinidhipat, the co-founder of Van Hart Coffee, and a Biotech Alumnus led the workshop and captivated attendees with his deep knowledge and passion for coffee. Known for their dedication to organic, small-batch coffee sourced directly from Northern Thailand, Van Hart Coffee embodies the philosophy of "Heart Made Coffee." Every cup is crafted with meticulous care, reflecting the brand’s commitment to supporting local coffee producers and delivering the finest flavors to customers.

Participants learned the art and science of coffee cupping, a sensory evaluation process used to identify the quality and nuances of coffee beans. Attendees were guided through a hands-on experience, tasting and analyzing a variety of coffee profiles.

The session emphasized Van Hart Coffee's core values—sustainability, innovation, and community collaboration. Mr. Nateepat also highlighted how Van Hart’s dedication to excellence and heartfelt craftsmanship creates a memorable coffee experience, ensuring every cup delivers happiness.
