Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proved that leadership isn’t just about strategy—it’s about style, presence, and communication. On March 19, 2025, students gathered at C102, Hua Mak Campus, for an engaging and insightful workshop titled The Power of Personality in Leadership. Led by Dr. Archaree Phiphadkusolkul, Assistant to the Dean for Student Affairs, Theodore Maria School of Arts the session focused on the often-overlooked elements of leadership: appearance, posture, dress, and communication.
Dr. Archaree captivated the audience with her dynamic presentation, emphasizing the significance of first impressions and personal branding in professional and leadership settings. “Leadership isn’t just about what you say—it’s about how you present yourself,” she noted. Attendees gained practical tips on grooming, body language, and dressing for success, ensuring they leave a lasting impact wherever they go.
One of the session’s highlights was an interactive demonstration on posture and mannerisms, where students practiced power poses and effective communication techniques. The energy in the room was palpable as participants refined their handshake styles, adjusted their posture, and even experimented with wardrobe choices that exuded confidence.
The workshop resonated strongly with attendees, with many expressing newfound confidence in their professional presence. “I never realized how much my posture and attire could influence how people perceive me,” shared one student. “This session was a game-changer!”
With such enthusiastic feedback, The Power of Personality in Leadership reaffirmed the crucial role of personal presentation in leadership success.
