Assumption University of Thailand (AU) hosted a successful EdPEx Internal Assessor Training on June 28, 2024, at the Ammaret Pitak Room, The Cathedral of Learning Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus. The event, organized by the AU Performance Excellence Committee and the Office of Policy, Planning, and Quality Assurance (OPPQA), was aimed at enhancing the assessment skills of AU’s internal assessors.

There are altogether 57 faculty members in participation.The objective was to provide comprehensive knowledge of the assessment process, criteria, and feedback reporting.

 
 
 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Deputy of Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice-Chair of AU Performance Excellence Committee, delivered an inspiring opening speech, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement and excellence in education. "Our commitment to quality and excellence is unwavering, and this training is a testament to our dedication to fostering a culture of assessment and improvement within our university," he stated.

 
 
 

The event featured Dr. Weeraya Donsomsakulkij as the honorable guest speaker, who shared her extensive knowledge on TQA/EdPEx assessor training. Her sessions provided valuable insights into identifying key factors, assessing ADLI (Approach, Deployment, Learning, Integration), writing evidence, findings, potential impacts, score rationales, and finalizing feedback reports.

The program schedule included interactive workshops, detailed sessions on assessment criteria, result matrix evaluations, and key theme writing, ensuring that participants were well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Expert Guidance: Insightful presentations and practical advice from Dr. Weeraya Donsomsakulkij.

Comprehensive Learning: Detailed discussions on various assessment components and their application in the EdPEx framework.

The training concluded with a Q&A session, providing an opportunity for participants to clarify doubts and engage in meaningful discussions.
