On June 17, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed executives from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) for a visit aimed at enhancing educational collaboration. The event took place in The Cathedral of Learning Building on the Suvarnabhumi Campus.
The visit aimed to strengthen the relationship between Assumption University and NIDA, exploring opportunities for academic exchange and cooperation.
The AU President attended and made a welcome speech, highlighting the importance of the partnership and the shared goals in educational excellence. Following this, Mr.Sompol Na Songkhla, Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs spoke about facility management, maintenance management, and the management of the resident halls, emphasizing the university's commitment to providing top-notch infrastructure and services to support the educational environment.
NIDA's representative shared insights into the institute's evolving philosophy. Over the past 15 years, NIDA’s philosophy "Wisdom for Change" has transformed into "Wisdom for Sustainable Development." This shift reflects NIDA’s commitment to incorporating sustainable development into its mission, extending its role on the international stage to promote wisdom that supports societal sustainability.
The visit included discussions on collaborative opportunities, presentations on joint initiatives, and a tour of the Suvarnabhumi Campus.
AU is committed to enhancing international and domestic collaborations and looks forward to the positive outcomes of this engagement with NIDA.
