WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On December 3, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed over two hundred student’s and teachers from Marialai School, Ladkrabang, for an engaging and educational campus visit. The day was filled with excitement and discovery as the students explored the Suvarnabhumi Campus, experiencing firsthand the vibrant academic atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities that make AU a leading institution in Thailand.
Marialai School, located in Bangkok's Thap Yao Sub-district, Lat Krabang District, is a Catholic educational institution established in 1937. Guided by its motto, "ซื่อสัตย์ กตัญญู รู้หน้าที่ มีมารยาท" ("Honesty, Gratitude, Responsibility, and Courtesy"), the school is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals with a strong moral foundation. Inspired by the values of Mary, the mother of Jesus, Marialai School focuses on developing its students across physical, mental, emotional, social, and intellectual domains, preparing them to contribute positively to society.
Organized by the AU Registrar's Office, the event provided the young visitors with a glimpse into university life while fostering inspiration for their future educational journeys.
Highlights of the day included guided tours of key facilities such as the library, classrooms, and sports complex. The students were particularly captivated by the innovative technology available in AU's modern learning spaces. The university's representatives also delivered presentations about AU's diverse academic programs, emphasizing its international outlook and commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
Throughout the day, the Marialai School students actively engaged in interactive sessions and Q&A activities, where they had the opportunity to learn about AU's history, values, and academic excellence. The visit concluded with a reflection session, during which students shared their impressions and aspirations.
This visit to AU was more than just a tour—it was an inspiring experience that left the students motivated to pursue higher education and dream bigger for their futures. AU takes pride in opening its doors to the next generation of learners, fostering connections that inspire growth and development.
